Depends what you define as "goodies".
Complete sport splitter? Full leather? rear spoiler? clear bumper markers? Arcadias? unbroken Eggcrate grill? sport headlights? Yes to all of the above. |

The V40 Sport Lux I bought today is purely a fund raiser to get the T4 back on the road because driving a BMW E36 328i decked to the floor on coilovers as a daily driver sucks ass. It uses a load of fuel, scrapes over speedbumps and the auto box with a torquey 6 cylinder RWD is sketchy as hell in the wet. Last edited by Antz; Mar 13th, 2015 at 13:26. |

I've only broken two X40's ever! First one was a 2003 V40 Sport Lux 1.8 with a blown engine and collapsed rear suspension that'd been sat since 2012 in a yard in Aberdeen (very rusty) and a 2002 S40 2.0T with a siezed engine that I was offered locally and it supplied me with the new downpipe/cat and gearbox I needed for my T4.
I don't go out my way to break cars. I've never broken a perfectly good car just for the sake of it and they always have parts I need for myself or my mums V40. If I can break the car, supply the community with parts to keep others going and get my parts for cheap/free then I'm happy. The V40 I'm getting is a nice car to look at on the surface but its a GDI with 134k, 11 months MOT and its in that weird light grey colour (not titanium). The guy Ive bought it from said it has a "unknown mechanical fault and its unsafe to drive!" |

RAGING WITH MYSELF!!!!
Ordered all that new stuff from Gtechniq on Wednesday evening and forgot to leave my house number in the address box. Because of that, it doesn't get delivered today, but Monday! Looks like I will be using the usual stuff for this weekend's polish, as I am meant to be away back to Belfast on Thursday next week. :-( Gary

Discovered something I didn't know today at the local scrappy - a 51 plate Mitsubishi Charisma diesel with the Volvo diesel engine in it. It was the 102hp engine (small turbo) but it really was like for like, same intercooler, same fuel filter, it even had 'Volvo' stamped on all the hoses, etc. Worth looking out for if you need diesel parts.
