Back to the start... Gower and Lee can't supply the repair kit as it is no longer in production both from Solex or another supplier in Italy
Other guys that I've found on ebay also messed me up with a kit that is actually for SU.lol
So I already made up some gaskets for the bottom of the carb ... will try to locate a spacer and some O-rings as all other parts are in pretty good condition (After an inspection and clean-up).

the bottom two gaskets and the plastic spacer are available (but expensive for what they are) from volvo i did mine 2 years ago ,the usual 2 week wait though or do you mean internal gaskets?
close inspection showed many minute cracks in the spacer cut out walls,i filled mine with silicone and used card board gaskets until the new ones arrived

Thanks for the info chesters6.
Very useful.
Will try to find out if they are still available from Volvo these days.

I was referring at those ones, yes.

Best regs,

Vlv240

P.S: will keep you informed about the progress.

Updates after a long time!
Finally managed to identify this tricky carb: Solex 34/34 Cisac.

The 2 gaskets located under the carb were still available from Volvo last year, but the spacer no longer

Hopefully, with the help of 2 members, here, I managed to get my hands on a good spacer and a carb repair kit.

So now, mine is on it's way to becoming a little bit fresher that it was. :P

Hi honestjoe.

Thanks.

As far as I know this carb was also fitted to Peugeot 505.

If you will find one still in good condition, and complete, and will not decide to keep it for yourself, I'd be glad to buy as I wasn't able to find a complete rebuild kit so a few bits and pieces would be really welcome to restore mine to its full glory :P

Cheers,

V.
