I'm sure they would have sent something in the post if I'd signed up, but at the point of sale there was nothing to go through. I've been bitten once before on the exclusions from insurance policies so if there's no fine print available, I don't even consider it. Either way, the tyres and alloys cover wasn't for me, but the OP may have different criteria.

It was mentioned when I bought the car - almost in passing so have not seen any details - can sing up for it up to 30 days after purchase.
Made me wonder when I don't have a spare wheel (and also noting comments) and the allows are the r design version so was not sure if they are as easy to "touch back up" - will ask for more details |

My Volvo says 2 weeks for delivery for my XC60 R Design Lux, I would say from experience the wheel and tyre cover is a waste of your money. I've owned a BMW330i m sport coupe with 40 and 45 profile tyres for 8 years and have never had a kerbing incident.
When I went to see a XC60 I noticed it had 60 profile, this = 60% of the tread width which makes them quite tall so should help keep the wheels away from kerbs. £500 is a lot of fuel or a full set of tyres or a holiday. |
