Not one you normaly need to do.
Carb cleaner is the best bet.

It's well worth doing if you can't remember when you last did it - it is amazing how dirty it gets, and cleaning it certainly makes the engine run better. A thorough clean involves unolting the unit and carefully cleaning the butterfly etc. After it had been done once I just give it a wipe in situ with a rag with a squirt of WD40 once in a while.
I regard it as part of the general cleaning schedule around that area - flame trap, pipework, manifold air intake nipple, the Idle Air Valve, and the plastic air intake ducting. I do it all at each oil change, with a more thorough clean at every alternate one.
Be careful not to get carb cleaner in the throttle position switch, or to upset its setting.

It doesn't gunk up when running on LPG.
I'm too spoilt!

Theres no mention that if the throttle body has not been cleaned for a while that the tendancy of home mechanics (and some professional ones) to get over a slow tickover problem is to adjust idle speed screw and perhaps the tps this will mean that when all the gunk is cleaned out, the engine will idle at a lot faster speed due to more air going pass the butterfly valve and therefor the idle adjustments will have to be redone
