Update: Gower and Lee (probably Jeff) answered my email yesterday. I was told that the repair kit for this type of carb is not available at the moment (from their supplier).
Luckily I also got an answer from another carbs refurbisher and seller in the U.K.
Hope I will succeed.
Will keep you all informed.

I wasn't lucky enough (for the moment) to find a new/refurbished carb (identical to the one currently fitted on mine) but found a repair kit for mine.
Will keep u all updated.

There is (was?) a conversion kit using a new SU HIF 6 that fits directly on the Pierburg/Stromberg manifold. I fitted quite a few when the cars were newer and it is a worthwhile upgrade. Much easier to get the fuelling spot on. Worth keeping an eye out for. A kit appeared on Ebay a few months back.

It may be worth asking Burlen fuel systems if they still do it. The whole thing used to be £90 or so, but that was a number of years ago.

Many thanks for the info and advice 940 Turbo.
Mine has a Solex-Cisac carb. Is its manifold identical to Piebrug/Stromberg manifold?

No, the Stromberg is a side draught carb.

Got no response from Burlen until now.
Hope will sort out a repair kit for my old Solex soon.
Will keep you informed about the progress; by the way what should be the components of a carb repair kit (usually) besides the gaskets, membrane, rubber seals (o-rings), nozzles?
