rear boot spoilers
Hi
Can someone direct me where I can purchase any of the attached boot lid spoiler made by Foha of Austria. It comes in either 3 pc. or 1 pc. versions. I would also appreciate if anyone can provide the Part Numbers of these rare to find spoilers. Dindo |

This company may be able to help. Boogered if I can understand their website though. You'd have to email them.

Will such a small boot spoiler make any difference to a a car shaped like a brick?

The purpose of a bootlid spoiler on a 240
It'll help keep the tea-cup on the boot when you're at the BKV...

It's more of the challenge of restoring the unit with OE parts that really matters for me since classic models like this are extinct here in the Philippines. I would not sacrifice quality by installing an imitation.

As far as I know, no 240 came from the factory with that spoiler fitted, so it was never an OE fitment.
I am not aware of any source for that spoiler (original, not a repro). I think you will need to keep a regular world-wide search on ebay. If you are lucky, a new-old-stock or good used one will eventually turn up. Hard to predict the price, but I would guess that a good one will not be cheap. The alternative, which was a genuine Volvo R-sport part, is the rear spoiler used on the works racing 242 turbo. Reproductions are available, but finding one which can be proven to be a genuine Volvo item would be difficult and expensive! Good luck John |

DVS Performance in Austraila do a reproduction of the Group A spoiler like John mentioned: http://www.dvs.net.au/240.html#body
They do ship all over the world. I get quite a few suspension bits off them |

Thank you for all your invaluable inputs. Yes, I am also aware of the R-Sport OE version and its fiberglass aftermarket versions.
I do hope to find those that were manufactured by the company named Foha. |
