To all the ones who suggest glow plugs... sorry guys but your so way off the mark ....
First it's common rail !!! Second glow plugs only ever serve any use in cold weather. Unless the Op lives in the North Pole your glow plugs wont even bother firing up. You're better off with air in the system,fuel filter,non return valve, fuel pressure etc route. |

To the OP, no harm in checking the plugs, you've already got your head under the bonnet. Air in the system is a good call. Plugging into diagnostics is a must, no point in blindly guessing then throwing time, money and parts at it. There has also been a previous post of similar here- https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=146743 Might be worth checking for leak back at the injectors. |
