Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 740 that has been neglected for far too long. After 8 years of being dormant we got the car running and gave it a well needed wash!

If you enjoy seeing old Volvos being restored by a complete amateur then feel free to follow along.

Was the car local to Reading? Also do you work at Waylands Volvo? Noticed the burger king across the road :-)

Yep, time to invest in a MiG welder! Actually, the state of those sill ends is making me feel better about my own 740.

I'm curious to know where you filmed this episode: is it one of these 'rent a service bay' facilities?

Can you get the car driveable for the VOLVO NATIONAL RALLY . At Stratford in early July .it woud be great to see it there
