Default C70 2.0d immob. try start again - after alternator change

Hi to all,
I changed the alternator at the garage but now i can't start the car,
the dtc that appears is: Immobilizer try start again.
That day before when the road assistence try to restart the car with the booster, i think he did a short circuit, the alternator was gone anyway.
I tried all the advices in this forum but nothing worked.
Do you think do I have to bring the car at Volvo to reinstall the software, or I can try something else?
Thanks everyone

That depend on the fault code, need vida to scan. The 2 liter diesel is sensitive to voltage drop that may cause problem with immo sync in ecu or cem. There is 2 ways to do it, first dealer and reload cem or ecu, or locksmith that can match the cem with ecu. Check the prices because sometimes locksmith maybe more than dealer. Before you do make sure the battery is good and alternator is working.
