I think it'll be the battery tray development mule!

Not to mention many other common parts that corrode!

Plenty of welding to be done but the interior looks to be in very good condition. It is a B230FT automatic, as it is an FT not an ET I suspect it might be LH2.2 rather than Motronic as it appeats to have no power stage in the engine bay, I only spent a few minutes looking at it as it was late and dark so I couldn't see much even with a torch.

Photos to be uploaded tomorrow or Wednesday, I'll see when I can get over to it.

So it is time to break out the angle grinder and welder again
I think you got a great looking car there Luke, right colour both inside and out, I love the interior it goes really well with the blue paintwork, yes you have some welding to do, but I've done ten times worse than that, your going to have a really nice one when its all done, it will be worth it, keep the updates and photo's coming, wish you well with it, David.

Thanks David, it really is a nice car! It will be interesting to see how it performs compared to a HPT 940 with the Garrett T25 on it. 50 shades of Grey was rustler tha this so I've no doubt it will be welded up soon enough. My 360 was a lot worse than both 50 shades and this 760 so this is an easy job compared to that haha. Although I doubt even the 360 compared to your mk2 jag for rot!

Wow! Can't believe an electric passenger seat was nearly twice the cost of a Limited Slip Diff!

I don't suppose you happen to have a 1988 price list as well Bob? Just curious to know how much mine was new. I know my Rover was £30k + some change (£30300 rings a bell) but that was 1994. Would be nice to find out how much my 760 was when new as well.

Sorry Dave that's the only one I have got. I couldn't afford a 760!! Of course, those prices were without discount which at that time was running at about 12% or so. However they were pushing the non-cat engined cars which this seems to be with a slightly higher discount.

No worries Bob, thanks anyway. I'm sure i'll find out one day!

I noticed there's a bit in small-print offering the cat-equipped engines as a no-cost option, why you'd want to i don't know though!

I think many other manufacturers did similar (Vauxhall, Rover and Saab come to mind) before cats were mandatory.
