Is it me or do any others think that these items are way of the richter scale:~
Nothing special in the way that they are made or materials used- If I wanted one I would look towards a fabricator for better value.

I'm with you there as I normally go down the modified vehicle route, this time With my 850 I am going for the keep it original route. Which for me is constant battle
and do I really need a strut brace for how I drive the 850 err No, its just my little nod to a modified Volvo

I'm also firmly in the 'keep it original' camp - the strut brace came off my previous S70 T5, and I don't believe it made any difference to the way it handled, simply because I don't track day my cars. I can't honestly see anyone feeling a genuine improvement (placebo effect excluded) in daily driving by fitting these - IMHO you'd be better off fitting uprated anti-roll bars.

A strut brace does nothing on a tin top, other than gaining max chav points. It transforms a convertible, hence the prices achieved.
