Volvo 1800S - Selling Parts Collection Due to Relocation

Due to a need to relocate later this year I have to downsize in terms of car/ parts/ tools which means I am selling my entire collection of parts and pieces collected whilst I was a Volvo 1800 owner.

I am selling these as a series of lots (I will not split as I have a lot of lots to sell) but am flexible on pricing for combined lots.

I am based in Switzerland and can meet at the border of France, Italy or Germany for larger lots. Alternatively, I will be making visits each quarter to the UK and (subject to COVID restrictions travelling through France) can bring these items with me and meet you in the South of England during my visits. I do not believe it will be cost effective to post items.
I have priced in Euros for ease of usage across countries.

There are multiple lots and many pictures so i will try to attach a catalogue of all the pieces to make it easier for photos and then just list the lots below.

Some of the bulky items I will also try to sell locally. The very specialist items like the Leo Moekl race engine/ Volvo Competition Service parts/ The Weber DCOE45 15/16 refurbished carbs may also be offered elsewhere.

Volvo B18 Engine Service Lot: 4 X Volvo oil filters, Sets of heat range 6 and 7 plugs (if you change based on fuel or season) and a cam cover gasket.

WEBER DCOE Restoration and Tuning Lot: This includes new and older good condition parts from older style DCOE carbs; spare Jets (all types); gaskets; carb balancing kit. Most parts needed for DCOE 45 tuning on a B18 up to B20/ stroked engine car.

Volvo Competition Service Original Manifold. This has been remanufactured in Switzerland with additional strengthening bracket to prevent cracking of the branches (known fault area). Includes the adaption parts to attach directly to a Simons Sports exhaust system. This was only used for 500kms and then removed due to sale of the car.
New Price: EUR600. Sell for EUR300

Volvo 1800S/ Amazon (1961-68) Ventilated Disc Conversion Kit (as sold by Nordicar). The kit is complete and also includes new original Volvo splash covers, spare brake hoses as a complete changeover package. This is the full ventilated brake kit with only 500 kms usage on motorways (see photos)

Engine Oil Lot: Motul 20W-50 2 litre cans (8 packs) and Liqui Moly 20W50 Classic (5 Litre pack). 2 of the cans have a few dents but no splits or leaks.

Gearbox Lifter Lot: For use under car to lift gearbox into place. Used for clutch on P1800. Include angle adjustment for ease of usage. 150kg lift capacity. Sealey TJ150E model.

GT Steel Wheels (Amazon/ 1800S 1961-68). 15 X 5.5”. Used 100km then replaced with Minlites. Costs EUR143 each from Nordicar. Also includes chromed wheel nuts (new) and a GT centre cap kit (cost new EUR122).
Cost New: EUR700. Sell for EUR350

Simons Fan-Type 4:1 Exhaust Manifold. Fits P1800/ 1800S. Used for 5K kms. Fibre wrapped. Includes new fitting kits and spare parts for SIMONS exhaust installation. Exhaust is fitted with 2X sensor bungs.
New price: EUR320. Sell for EUR 150.

Wooden Volvo 1800/ Les Leston Steering Wheel. Uses genuine Volvo 1800 boss/ Les Leston wooden rim and spokes. Wheel made by Walsall Wheels, England. Is a New Old Stock Wheel combined with genuine Volvo boss. Is 15” diameter.
New Price: EUR600. Sell for EUR300.

K&N Air Filters (Deep) for SU HS6 carbs. Used for 300kms only. Plain filters - no connector to rocker cover. Includes new and boxed velocity stacks that I did not get round to fitting.
New price: EUR 250. Sell for EUR100.

Chromed Performance Air Filters (Skandix). For engine with crankcase ventilation (right hand filter). Use with SU HS6 carbs. Includes spare fitting bolts.

Amazon Cars Alloy Air Filter Box and machined ram pipes. Includes alloy custom base, housing cover with clips, filter and fitting kit. Also includes new boxed spare filter.

Panhard Rod for lowered rear with Polybushes. This is for a car fitted with lowered springs and keeps rear aligned to front for correct geometry (needed if you drop more than 20mm). Fitted with purple poly-bushes and unused.

Touring Cooling Kit for Volvo 1800 Closed Circuit Version. 3 row radiator (Skandix manual transmission version – used 500kms – new EUR300); Electric Radiator Fan and fitting kit (Skandix – 305mm – cost new EUR170); Electric fan temperature sensor and switch/ relay and fitting kit for fan (NORDICAR DR16738 – EUR64).
New price: EUR530. Sell for EUR250

Mixed Lucas Electrical Lot: Fuse Blocks (2); Overdrive stalk mounted switch; New panel knobs; English language switch finishers and screws (new old stock); Original and working High beam/ low beam/ overdrive relay.

Original Bosch Ignition System Lot. Coil with ignition switch modification to work with 123 ignition if needed. Original, remanufactured BOSCH JFR4 distributor. Spare points and condenser. Removed from car immediately after complete restoration so less than 5000kms usage.

Original Bosch Dynamo and Regulator Lot. Dynamo and regulator both used and rebuilt as part of complete restoration. Used for 5000kms before removal and storage. Includes original mounting bracket and spare rubber spacers.

Alternator Kit. CARGO; 40 AMP Alternator (EUR115); Fitting kit and stay to mount this (EUR60) and wiring plug and tails. Used for one season.

Refurbished Steering Wheel for Volvo 1800S (1968 late model year +) Volvo 1800E. Never used but a little dirty has been stored since rim refurbishment 5 years ago.

Bumper external rubber safety pads and fittings. For front and rear. Used but good condition as only 2-3 years old. Will combine with other mixed parts lots if needed.

Windscreen seal (1800E). Unused. Late model Year (1800E). Bought in error. Will combine for mixed lot with other trim items.

Revolution Counter and KMH Speedo. Revolution counter from 1967 car. Refurbished and certified 5 years ago and in store since then (EUR380 new costs). Excellent condition. Speedo from 1967 car/ not fully refurbished/ some dents on chrome work. Good donor if you want a concours refresh.

Volvo B18 “Swiss Tuning/ Leo” engine. Ported head; 42/ 37 Manley valves; new seats; special valve guides; titanium washers; over-bored 2L engine; balanced crank and flywheel; balanced conrods; baffled oil pan; aluminium pulley; Sachs sport clutch; aluminium rocker cover. Complete engine with only running in kms of 2500KMS.

Volvo Competition Service Airbox/ Weber DCOE 15/16 Carbs: Includes original airbox with adapted offset adaptor plate for Volvo 1800S; Original 45DCOE15/16 carbs (completely refurbished and jetted for “Leo” engine cost around EUR1000 in parts and pieces); Magnoletsi inlet manifold with throttle arms/ special mounting plate; HUCO low pressure pump (133010 – 3 off- cost EUR55 each); Pierburg low pressure fuel pumps (2 off – cost EUR60 each). My son is flying over around 4th February and can take a large cargo bag of parts back with him so non-bulky items can go with him. He is in Reading so you would need to pickup from his place.
