Default Bluetooth Phone Calls - Losing Callers Audio

Hi,

Been trying to investigate a frustrating Bluetooth issue and am getting nowhere. We have 2 XC70 D5 AWD models, one a 2012 and the other a 2015 model. The 2012 Bluetooth works as advertised with our phones, both iPhone xRs with latest software, but the later car has a problem which makes the Bluetooth pretty much unusable.

The connection frequently seems as if it has dropped out, but in fact the recipient of the call can hear the conversation fine. In the car you are simply not getting any of the other parties audio at all through the system. I know that the 2015 has always been much quieter for some reason, which is frustrating enough, but this issue simply renders the Bluetooth connection unusable.

All other aspects of the system work as advertised, it is simply this one thing that is causing issues.

Has anyone else come across this and found a solution, or is a trip to the dealers before the Volvo Selekt warranty runs out on the cards?

Thanks

Take the Selekt route immediately! I had a sat nav problem in that it worked perfectly in all respects except you couldn't download map updates from the internet even though they upgraded the system to do it. They just took out the entire sat nav unit and replaced it under warranty to upload the map and didn't charge me for the previous upgrade because the new sat nav had to get its map from somewhere and that was their problem not mine. So I got £400 of gear on the warranty and the cost of fitting it and they downloaed the map too. Take the Selekt option and don't think of trying to do what they can do for you free of charge.

Thanks. Sage advice I think. As the warranty runs out in a couple of weeks I have got the car booked in next week for investigation. At least that way the issue is logged in their system.
