Default Anyone else seen this car?

Trying to work out if i love it or i hate it:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175124877...ndition=4%7C10

On the one hand, i love the idea of a convertible amazon, on the other hand i have conflicting feelings about the fact that a presumably pretty solid one was sacrificed to make it. Looks like a lot of fun to drive though.

Looks like someone has wrecked both an Amazon and an MX5.

I'd agree with that.

MX5 is a good platform for a resto-mod but not like that. The sill width and length from the bulkhead back is a very good match with the front needing to be extended. That way they could have made a nice convertible Amazon with the MX5 platform..That thing is a bodge.

I doubt that the Amazon part came from something worth saving.

I think it's a brave attempt at something different.Curiously, it reminds me more of a Kharmann Ghia than either an MX5 or an Amazon.

I wouldn't pay more than £3000, though.

I'll watch it on eBay and report back with the sale price next week.

That motor car made £3,250 - I thought that was plenty for what it was.
