Car looks amazing Adam, as well it should for that amount of money. I’m at the assembly stage of my 544 mammoth rebuild and am on target to have spent around £5000 give or take. But I must admit I have had to make do and mend in a lot more cases than I would have preferred. Since embarking on this project it is easy to see how real perfection and sensible updates can swallow loads of cash! Hope you enjoy your Volvo.
Can you tell us more about your mods, especially the front and rear disc brake set up. |

A guy I know has spent over £100k on his Amazon. That is the extreme but there’s some Amazons out there with expensive restorations. A very good GT can fetch £25k and very good two doors and estates towards £20k now.
