Default Early Grills

Hi,

Anyone got a nice pair of early grills that they'd be willing to sell on? I'll be starting on the front section of my estate when the weather turns bad and I may change the front panel for a spare that I have.

Cheers,

Mitch

What are "early grills" ?

1956-61, or 1962-64, or 1965-66 ones? - as 1967-70 must be the later ones I recon?..

Well, sometimes it's very difficult to answer to a request like this one - see, I can use a ton of time answering the wrong question - just because I guessed instead of knowing. I think many move on to such a request, as they don't want to bother or don't want to ask (my question) because it sometimes gets taken exactly like you did..

I have tons - are you looking for used or NOS?

I tried to get info out of you once before when you were apparently selling everything off, but it was a waste of my time so I only let that happen once, also I doubt I'd be willing to pay your asking price, so let's leave it there and I'll track down some from somewhere else.

Well, an accusation I don't recognize - if I have missed an email from you or so - I'm very sorry, but I don't see a PM from you?

be careful mitch as those grills need to be mounted in a early front panel which is a narrow opening compared to the later grills ( so in a nutshell the early grills will not fit a later front panel ) so have that in mind when you plan on fitting them but if andy has a pair then snap them up if hes offering them for a fair price whitch im sure he will do as its for you or i can get a pair of my custom ones done for you .

regards
robert

Thanks Robert. I have a couple of good front panels so thought I might adapt one to the early grills and can always change back to the original front panel later if need be.
