Default 2010 XC60 heater motor

Hi
Just a quick response to all the good info received from this site/forum. Recently had the heater motor go inop after the vehicle had a lengthy lay up due to engine damage which all now resolved. After going through all sorts of checks etc and then in the process of trying to get to the motor. Finally found an easy route to access the motor and hope it might help someone in the future. Remove the small scuttle panel behind the battery and the battery cover look into the space behind on an angle while standing half way down the n/S wing. You will see a metal plate that if you reach in and bend forward then with a good torch in the distance you will see the fan blades. I used a long plastic prong to push the motor blade which was siezed suddenly freed of and all working well. Hope this is not too long and understandable
