Hunting at idle BF200T
Greetings..
My Wenty is hunting on tick over and has dire full consumption. I can't find an airleak on any pipe work. I'm currently in Bulgaria and parts could be a problem. Could it be the Maff..any advice would be great.. Thanks |

It could be many things, you need to diagnose the problem.
For starters check fuel pressure, compression, timing belt, spark, spark timing |

If it drives reasonably ok it's doubtful that it's the MAF - if i was in the same situation you are, i would renew the CTS/ECT, 0 280 130 023 (Bosch part number), it's under #3 inlet tract on the cylinder head.
After renewing it, pull fuse #1 for 30 seconds or pull fuse #1 before you start and refit afterwards. That would be a guess based on the most likely cause - the best way is like Tony suggests, test it but i'm guessing you have few if any diagnostic tools with you and even a 19mm ring spanner might be pushing your luck!
