Default Fuel Filter location ? 2009 - 2.0 litre petrol V70

Hi all,

I can seem to find the fuel filter ? I got a spare one that was meant to be for the car, they gave me a silver metal one, however the comparable part is nowhere to be seen on the vehicle? Theres nothing in front of the rear wheels etc.

The closest thing I can see is a big round plastic canister mounted on the axle, it has three tubes going to it saying TANK / AIR / PURGE pocs attached I'm wondering if this is it and the shop has given me the wrong filter?

Thanks

volvo do not use external filters on new Petrol models after 2004 , there is a very fine filter gauze on the pump intake in the tank ...

No it's not serviceable unless you change the pump then you get a new filter with the new pump of course .

Markets with poor quality fuel have the external filter ...
