Default Top Engine Mount

I detected a clunk on taking up the drive from standstill and could see the engine moving when applying torque against the brakes. The cause was easy to diagnose:

That mount was fitted 60k miles ago. I decided to fit a polyurethane bush from PFS Parts (via eBay). Very easy to fit, took just 5 mins. No more clunk.

it is usually the corresponding torque reaction rod bush under the sump area which causes the clonk , ... are you getting more engine noise in the car with that hard plastic piece?

I've only done a short test drive so far but didn't notice any difference. I did check the lower mount too - I only replaced that last year.

Fitted same bush to mine 18 months ago. All good so far.
