Default Engine system service required

OK so bear with me I have no clue about cars.

Bought an Xc90 09 plate and it has the anti skid light showing which the dealer is going to fix they said its a sensor however there is a warning when I turn the engine on that says engine system service required, this then changes to anti skid service required when I start to drive and the anti skid light then comes on. Is this linked or are they two different problems?

Has the oil recently been changed. Check the oil level. Anything at, or just over the top mark on the dipstick will give you the engine service system required. 250ml will need to be syphoned/drained if this is the problem.
