Wheel options for 2005 T5 with 320mm brakes

My 2005 T5 is currently running on nebulas (235/40/18) which are past their best and one seems to have been buckled and welded by a previous owner.

In the interest of comfort, tyre cost and turning circle.. I’ll be keeping an eye out for an alternative set.
I believe as it’s a 2005 model it has 320mm front brakes as standard.. will this limit me to the size rims I can use?

Hi,

The smallest size you can go to with those size brakes is 17 inch alloys.

I am about to refurb my 18 inch Eudora wheels and sell them on and have grabbed myself a set of 17 inch Volvo Cassiopeia alloys to replace them with.

Make sure that you stick to the correct offset etc whatever alloys you go for, but my advice is stick with Volvo wheels.

I can now go from 235-40-18 to 225-50 17 for a more comfortable ride.

it has 316mm

320 was the old pre facelift upgrade option

I run Borbet CC alloys, also have had 17" nebulas and really sexy wheel is the 18" Eudora but is rare

sorry I meant 17" x 7.5J Orestes were what I have fitted
