  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Many thanks for this post and links. For whoever else does not know what this post is about, the patch that was used to run the copies of VIDA, run out of date on the 31 December, so VIDA would not work any more. These patches, will make your VIDA run again, until 2030.

Does this need to be applied to that old windows xp image that was floating around or only the newer installs?

Only way to find out is trying to start your VIDA. If it does not work, then you will need the patch.

any idea on where to read how the patch works?

I run the .exe and all I got is an error that the file isn't right and that it can't find tskill.exe, I was looking the .bat and .cmd files and it makes some calls to some files that I don't have, so I might be doing something wrong

just install the patch to C:

it does everything itself.

Is it possible to get vida to run on windows 10 as all our computers have been upgraded bar one which is running vista

Run the patch in administrator mode and 'confirm' it's installing into C/.
Mine wasn't and it flashed on the screen so fast I didn't notice the error for, err, a while!

You can run VIDA within a virtual machine on Windows 10
