Thumbs up

Hi All,

I was hoping to make it along to my first club meet 2mor at Hillington with my Gul 855, it's a bugger the new dealership isn't ready yet......i had my doubts to be honest, I pass it daily enroute to/from work.

I was only dropping in for a short while as I have to be elsewhere for 3 so doubt I'll make it to Lomond Shores as I'm about 1.5hrs away.

Looks like a stunning day 2mor so I'll definitely take the 'auld girl' out for spin - probably through to East Kilbride to see the folks. Look out for it on the M8/A725, lol.

Will definitely make an appearance at one of next year's meets.

Hope you all have a good day. Gerry

Sorry for the non appearance, the traffic was horrendous with a queue back to Milton at 10 to 1, so we abandoned. There was also a scooter gang being pests, so the Erskine bridge was done at 20 mph.

Apologies also for not turning up at Lomond Shores today, things just went from worse to worse all day ! looking forward to getting to more meets next year now that I've had a shift change.
Kevin.

The traffic was horrendous at Loch Lomond yesterday so fully understand what you are saying.I think all of Glasgow must have been out on the roads! After our meet I drove up Loch Lomond side then along by LochEarn to Perth then home. It was a truly lovely day and the water on the lochs was like a mill pond. Superbly calm and superb scenery. Autumn colours were wonderful. I didn't get home until just after 6pm but it was worth it. Scotland at is absolute best! Good to meet up with everyone as well when I finally found them.
The C70 did just over 300 miles yesterday. Quite delightful. Brilliant T5 engine.
Came across a bad accident at the Luss junction. Seemed to be three cars involved and there was obviously injuries. A number of ambulances (I expect you would be aware of this Kev.), fire engines and even Police cars there.

Apologies here too...

Managed to rid myself of new Dad duties for a few hours and get along to Motherwell for the Tartan Tarmac meet however it was very busy thus didn't leave there until around noon so sadly simply wasn't enough time to make it up to Loch Lomond than back over to Fife for early evening... not without points!

Hope to catch up at the next one though.
