Thank you for your interest, Battery status is the best, gsm signal quality is the best, and there is not bluetooth connection. The connection is indepented (with a second sim under the keyboard)

this is not regarding you. it is a new firmware release with the changelog.

Thanks Marek, just fitted the kit today and I'm really impressed with it.
Sound quality is really good on calls, just need to get used to the various menus and settings now.

Just a couple of questions have looked through the user guide but it doesn't mention the ON CALL menu or the various settings, could you explain them please.

if you mean VOC (volvo on call) then it works on VOC PHMs but (logically) VOC features will stop work after the upgrade.

and if you want to explain anything then be more specific.

The menu that I mentioned is menu 6: ON Call
6.1 SOS when selected asks if I want to request SOS call, is this possible?
6.2 ON Call when selected asks if I want to request On Call, is this possible?
6.3 Pause? what is this?
6.4 Pause code what is this?
6.5 Activation code what is this?
6.6 Buttons what is this?

it has not nothing in common with the bluetooth module. so if you want to know more then read volvo user guide. but if PHM is already updated then it will not work.

the whole bluetooth module setting (except pairing PIN) is done using the contacts list (see the bluetooth module user guide).

Thanks for that, there is no reference to menu 6 in any of the Volvo user guides or manuals, only details of menus up to 5.7. that's why I asked.

- if fully denied access to the phonebook the settings items are shown on the phonebook even if cellphone is connected.

Hi Marek,
I just bought one of your PHM and so far so good, very easy to install and to make it work.
However, I'm unable to show the song tags in the MD changer mode. I can make it show remaining time though.
Is this related to the avrcp version? I had a similar problem in my other car (kenwood hu) and solved it with this, but no luck with your PHM.
