S90 D5 Polestar, quick question - is it a dedicated mode?

Does Polestar optimisation software work in all modes (Comfort. etc) or is it a dedicated mode I need to switch to everytime I start the engine?

The Polestar software optimise all the modes, but it has own dedicated mode, which you need to change to every time starting the engine I am afraid.

It replaces dynamic with polestar optimised. I am not convinced it does anything in other modes. When they did it originally they said it did but since they renamed dynamic why would they not call it polestar but polestar optimised when others are optimised too.

Not 100% correct.
It replaces the dynamic mode and does nothing to other already existing modes.

My dealer confirmed it does effect all modes. I have emailed Polestar to confirm but have never heard back from them.

I completely disagree with your statement, because in Comfort mode with the Polestar optimisation the car feels very different than what it is without it.

I guess the engine map flash applies to all modes as that would be hard to change between modes on Volvos basic solution. I think you are correct.
Very different seems a bit much. May be you have perceptions of a racing driver.

I also emailed them...more than 9 months ago... answer never came. And it will never come... lol 😆
