getting the tracking done on an v70xc awd
hi all
just had my front wishbones replaced due to worn bushes. now I want to get the tracking checked for alignment what / where would you recommend getting the tracking done? would I need to go to a 4x4 place for this or will any tyre place br ok?

Anywhere with a Hunter Alignment machine would be my recommendation.
http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/ Most tyre shops use the lasers which hook over the wheels, which have a huge margin for error if your rear wheels aren't correctly aligned. The Hunter system will check all 4 wheels independently, so the rear can also be set correctly too. It will cost more, but at the end of the day the job has been done properly. HTH. James |

duration
any idea how long the alignment will last- does it depend how many bumps amd potholes you hit?

Yes - I have it done yearly myself, and definitely checked after any suspension or steering work.
