I pretty much always disable it when reversing into my garage. The cameras often pick up the transition between the gravel on the driveway and the concrete garage floor as an obstruction (yes, the cameras, not the parking sensors) and will jam on the brakes mid reverse making me think I've driven into something. Its happened so many times (and scared the crap out of me every time) that its just easier to not have it active when I reverse.

It also happened in a car park the other day. Put it in reverse to line up for a parking space and with no obstructions anywhere nearby (no parking sensor activation at all), the cameras decided a pot hole with water in it was a wall and jammed the brakes on scaring the cr*p out of me and the wife, total pain in the behind.
I'm sure one day it will actually save me from actually hitting something but overall, its just too sensitive for its own good.

I wasn't thinking of disabling it yet, I want to know what options are available if I cannot get used to it.
