Default Anyone Thinking Of Selling Their SE LUX Soon?

I'm looking for a 2007 onwards D5 SE Lux Auto.

Ideally I would like less than 60K miles and it has to be grey leather. Brushed aluminium interior ideal but not a deal breaker. Sunroof is also desirable.

I am aware of Tim's however the mileage is a little high but worse is that my wife doesn't like the green!

I'm checking Autotrader and Pistonheads twice a day but I haven't found the one that ticks all the boxes yet.

Jim.

I'm currently deliberating between the SE and SE Lux myself - tending towards the former given the materials price difference (new car). Without wanting to go off topic, can i ask what is influencing your decision to SE Lux? (Premium leather? resale value any better?)

My previous car was a V70 T5 SE but it had so many options that it was virtually an SE Lux. I like the Sovereign leather seats, Camulus alloys and the brushed aluminium roof rails. The Lux also has an electric passenger seat like my old T5. I don't want to feel like I've taken a step down, luxury wise, and I think in the future, the higher spec models will command a slightly higher resale value. But mainly it's about the extras.

Hi Jim,

I just put mine on autotrader yesterday. It is an SE Lux and it's oyster grey with off black leather. The mileage is at £ 75k, but it's been main-dealer serviced and I've just had new tyres all round and new discs and pads on the back (front done in May 2010). It's up for £ 15,900 but I'd take a sensible offer (my new replacement just arrived at Marshalls Grantham and I have to pick it up this month!)

Cheers,
Dave
