Nothing to go under it..



And I never get tired of looking at it....fantastic British Engineering in France.

This is the Millau Viaduct in Southern France that spans the River Tarn between Paris and Montpellier:

Actually going across it you don't get to see much either side because of the wind protection for the road deck - but it's one of things you just have to do. Finding the road that goes under it is a much better experience - there are plenty of stopping places funnily enough and the view is amazing.
I tried to get a panoramic shot - but the picture stitching software couldn't cope with it..
Access to this spot is easy enough - it's a gate in a lay-by into the field why wouldn't you ! :-)
