V60 2012MY Centre console Cup Holder Dismantle Help
Hi folks
I have a 2012 V60 which has no Bluetooth so I have purchased a receiver ‘kit’ to achieve similar. This (MPOW unit) plugs into the AUX in the bin section at the rear of the centre console and the 12V socket in the middle cup holder section. It’d be great if these were in the same section but alas they aren’t, so... I am toying with whether to burrow (i.e. drill) through from the bin to the cup holder, or going underneath the centre console to achieve the same. I understand that the cup holder should just pop out on my 2012 (I think this changed in 2015) but although the holder comes loose, the slide lid stops it coming out - any ideas here?? Also to remove the centre console is it just two bolts at the front just under the edge of the waterfall, plus four in the ‘bin’?? Thanks in advance. Dave |

Pain in the bum, did this last night to do similar.
Have to remove water fall first (you tube) 4 bolts in large compartment under mat To disconnect the 12v rear supply and aux is the hardest, the whole back just pulls off (around rear 12v supply) but takes some pulling, I did this last and wish I’d done it first! Under the blanking plate next to the aux I have the wiring loom for usb, so I’ve been and bought the usb plug and plate however even when plugged in no power and obviously the stereo doesn’t show usb option. Reading up it should be activated through VIDA software tool however Volvo looked at me blank I’ve emailed a couple of Volvo specialists near me to see if they can do it. |

Oh and cup holder
Pull towards back seat, unclips, then put the part nearest waterfall down to the front and lift back end up, just makes it past the roller blind at an angle |
