Default Best tow bar

Hi Folkes

Ive just aquired a V70 D5 SE 2005 can any of you guys reccomend a good' andcheap'ish tow bar.

Id preferably like one thats removable hitch so I minimise the chances of me hitting my shins and teaching the kids new 'naughty' words.

Also would there be much cuting to the bumper. Idealy id like electrics as well..how easy are they to fit and is there a connector in the boot i could use so that i dont have to cut any of the wiring loom.

Any advice would be most welcome.

TIA

witter towbars are as good as any.i had one fitted to a 55 v70 and it was fine.this was the detachable type and no need for any bumper cutting.your car should be wired ready to accept towbar wireing.if you are not doing it yourself then get a good mobile towbar fitter.dont take it to volvo they will charge you a fortune and still get a mobile fitter in to do it.i speak from experience.
