Haven't got around to it yet...4 decent tyres to replace the Bakelite crap on the car plus wifey deciding to book 2 weeks all inclusive in Mexico means it'll have to wait.

Not going until August but still a fair chunk of money...on the plus side 1 managed to get 4 new tyres from a well know manufacturer at what must be cost - £120+ each normally: 60 quid a corner picked up (legitimately) from their warehouse, which is a result.
The existing tyres are downright dangerous - they'll lose traction when accelerating at 60+ mpg , can't pull away from a junction in the wet without them breaking away and they push wide in corners in the wet. They are truly the most horrible, dangerous tyres I have ever had on a car so what the previous owner was thinking is beyond me (he just didn't understand tyres I guess being of the "you're only paying for the name" mentality. Shocks should hopefully be done next month - trying hard not to go overdrawn this month!
