I had the same problem very recently with my '98 T4 and it was the fuel pump at fault.

Well the car has been in for diagnosis today and they want to keep it for a further check tomorrow as they ran out of time.

So far the fault codes that have appeared are;
TDC Sensor
Cam Shaft Sensor
4 by injector faults
Coil Packs - 2 faults on 2 & 3

Not good!

The current thinking is that the TDC sensor could be throwing things out, i mentioned the fuel pump but they don't think that's the problem.

As things stand i could have brought a lemon

I would of though all these could be fixed fairly easily. Also its the garages problem not yours.

If your happy with the rest of the car with regard to its condition I would be inclined to stick with it. A bad first experience is off puting.

Yes, problems with both the TDC and cam sensor could be the cause but there really does far too many "electrical issues" all happening at once for my liking. If could just be that one sensor is duff and its throwing other codes as a result; that is not uncommon with the EMS2000.
