I would lower the suspension, do some colour coding and fit an egg crate grill.

i have just ordered a new grille from partsforvolvos.hopefully it will be here tomorrow. i will fit it and take pics. what do you mean by colour coding? remove the black then have it full white?
i have just spent £470 on the wheels so i dont think i will be painting them!!! i have been looking at some jamex springs that will lower it about 40mm. i want it low but still need it comfortable as i use it for my family too! |

If you're willing to spend the money, Pyaap posted something about coilovers but they're expensive. Do a search and I sure you'll get loads of ideas.
I think you can select an option to be notified if you get a message to your inbox but I don't know about threads...

To be honest even though I've got a bodykit to go on my V40 I'm only going to use a bit of the front bumper, I think they look dated or naff really quickly!
I found once I got all the grey trim sprayed body colour it really updates the look of the car! I've actually removed all the door rub strips for a smooth look, but if you park in car parks alot I wouldn't recommend it! Here is a few pics of some great looking S40's, styling wise they only have the trim body coloured, tints, alloys & are lowered! Its all personal preference really but I don't think they need alot to look really good anyway! Oh & that red V40 has changed a bit since that last pic! |

Like the black grill on the white car. Just makes it look that bit different.
Colour coding next? Best of luck.
