P.V.544 dash removal
Whilst I'm waiting a workshop manual can anyone tel me how to get behind or remove the fascia panel so I can start to rewire the dashboard? Thanks.

Unless you are a contortionist it's almost impossible. It really is quicker to take out the windscreen and then remove the dash panel as a whole.Take off the steering wheel and remove the brackets which secure the steering wheel shaft. Small crosshead screws secure the dash just below where the screen fits.(almost impossible to remove these with the screen in place)Two large screws secure each end of dash just in front of door pillar. Good luck

removal
It can be done .
Remove the seat and put some padding on the floor then start removing from underside . I did one recently and it was about 3.5 hours to get the speedo out . Good luck ! |
