My car is a different car to your car Mark! There was no rear ARB on it until about 2 days earlier either!

I also added some Wynns HPLS and overall it's quieter but i've still got the vibration from it between 50-65mph which is probably a result of the swarf - guessing that the case hardening on one or more teeth has come loose, caused the swarf and now being out of balance is causing vibration and noise.

Considering it's probably the first oil change it's had in 225k miles, it's probably fair wear and tear.

More than 12 teeth on that tone/reluctor ring i would hope!

Fairly sure it's a 1031, might be a 1030, i'd have to check. Certainly not got a LSD so no hope of it being a 1040/1 sadly.

Using the funnel and a hose makes life so much easier, pretty much a necessity to top up the ATF on my other beast.
