Default 2007 door mirror loose

Hi, this may be covered elsewhere but I can't get search to work at the moment so thought I'd see if anyone can give me a quick reply on this.

My passenger side door mirror has started to wobble. I've taken the upper and lower shrouds off and there's clear movement at the point where the mirror swivels. I can't see anything to tighten, unless there's something under the motor.

A picture of one disassembled or a cross section would be really helpful.

I'm not aware of the mirror being bumped, there's no external sign of damage.

Anyone else had this problem?

Any help much appreciated.

I had something very similar a couple of weeks ago, it was the glass, it had come unstuck from its backing plate.

It just sticks on, no screws I pulled mine off and put loads of super glue on and it’s been fine since no more wobble.

Absolutely right, mine got a bit worse and I realised the amount of movement couldn't be from the mirror body. Took the glass off just before it fell off and glued it back with some mirror adhesive I happened to have. All done and dusted. Thanks!
