Hi
Are these discs that you're all referring to the Sat Nav discs - are they free? Will I automatically get them sent to me or will the Dealer get them?

yes there is a problem with the latest vesion of their workshop software nationaly , it comes on disks .

So presumably I was lucky and the dealer did not have that problem?

there are a few long winded ways around it apparantly whilst waiting for fix . you should see what systems are on the new V40 makes the sensus seem tame :-)

Can anyone tell me which Dealers have installed their Sensus 3 update successfully please? My Dealer - Glos - have said they have a patch for some of the bugs but haven't heard of Sensus 3, as such.....

Apparently City Motors in Bristol will be ready to do the upgrade from next Monday!

Thanks for this. Phoned Exeter and they called it an ICM upgrade. I then phoned Gloucester back and they agreed that that's what it was called (having previously called it a "patch"). It seems it's rather more than a patch and does alter some of the parameters and comes with a handbook of sorts. Mine is being done on Friday.

Phoned Navteq and they think that it's best to upgrade the operating system before upgrading the maps with the discs. They did say that they do still freeze on disc 2 or 3 sometimes and to try again if that happens.

That's exactly what I did, had the Sensus upgrade and then did the map upgrade.
