Thumbs up R T Mechanics in Liphook

Hello people,
I would just like to mention R T Mechanics: http://www.rtmechanics.co.uk/index.html
They had some IPD anti roll bars and a pair of QBM adjustable drop links on e-bay last week which I snapped up.
I contacted them for a price on fitting and off I went last Tuesday to Liphook.
I must say Russell and the crew were first class in there attention to detail and the work they carried out, genuine nice people.
I have driven the car pretty hard today for the first time and I must say the steering and cornering is much improved, steering response sharper and cornering pretty much as flat as you can get. The drop links can be adjusted to make the front anti roll bar stiffer if need be. The car now handles like a much smaller and sportier car.

Hi there

Do you think the IPD rollbars would be a good upgrade on the 'lowered chassis' from Volvo ?

Mine is still good imo (not overly stiff, sits low), but could do with flatter cornering.

Thanks

Chris

I would think it can only improve the cornering/steering.
The mod is well written about on the american forums, but I think there anti roll bars are thinner or even non existant at the rear on American spec cars

Default Finding Liphook

Ju, come off the M25 at junction 10 and take the A3 south towards Guildford - it's roughly half the way between the M25 and Portsmouth. If you look at the map Liphook is right beside the A3 - to find it look south on the map for Petersfield and follow the A3 north from there with your finger, it's about a third of the way north from Petersfield and Guildford.
