Default 3000rpm limit

Hi Folks

My v60 1.6d wont rev above 3000rpm

It came to me as a non-runner but have since changed injector 4 and the battery and it now starts…

No warning on dash but I do get a soft error code of cem-b11d914 ground short with VIDA (2015) which I am pretty sure is related to my battery change (stop/start appears fine too) and cant see why this would cause a 3000rpm limit!

I’ve checked for
a boost leak (intercooler & pipe work looks fine)
MAF issue (removed and cleaned)

I have coded the injector post replacement and VIDA was throwing up errors with the old duff injector but is now happy with the new injector - so dont think its this..

Fuel Filter has been suggested to replace next but wouldn’t Vida thrown up a fuel pressure low message if the fuel filter was blocked/under performing?

Anything else to check?

Cheers,

DS

Also would a DPF issue present like this (and with NO DPF related DTC….)?

NOT Fuel filter.

Replaced and issue is the same .

Also the one I took off was a Bosch, correct part number and looked new too, no water nor impurities you get with long used filter. I think someone tried changing the filter recently to troubleshoot the RPM issue…

Any further thoughts…?

Is the vacuum from the vacuum pump to the to the turbo actuator giving the full vacuum ? should be near 28 in/hg with engine running.
