Modified twin headlamp wiring harness
Dear all
Can anyone tell me the part number of the modified wiring harness that goes inside the twin headlamps version of the Ph2 V40. The problem is burned out connectors for the H7 bulbs. I'm pretty sure Volvo produced an improved version which replaces the existing harness inside the headlamp unit. Thanks in advance Tim |

Its 30621291
http://www.skandix.de/en/spare-parts...light/1029750/ Volvo Technical Service Bulletin, (TSB), mentioned a headlamp problem on the V40. Volvo service bulletin #3-37-0008 states that an additional auxiliary wiring harness (part number 30621291) can be installed see S40/V40-3-37-0010 Operation No 90026-2 Labour description: Install extra cable harness Its detailed in vadis if you have access (i don't at present) If you don't want the headlights on as DRL just turn them off, there is a procedure in the manual or on the forum (somewhere) |

OK, sorted. There's a Volvo service kit to renew the complete harness inside the headlamp assemblies. There's two types; one for the four pin and one for the five pin plug. Both headlights now restored.
