Help!! Do I go to the National, or to Pall Mall to see the first public appearance of the Vulcan since the RAF retired her?

Rupert, come to the national and I'll lend you a Star Trek DVD, that way you can have the best of both worlds!
Where is she kept Rupert? - is this the Vulcan bomber that was rescued through public donation last year?

Hi Ian, I think it is one that I have worked on (many years ago).

All the best, Peter.

Go to the National then have a trip to The Museum of Flight at East Fortune (near Edinburgh) and view the Vulcan on permanent display.

I don't want to see one on display, I want to see one flying again and feel those four Olympus 201's open up as she climbs at 45* into a tight turn.....

Yes Iain, this is XH558 which is kept at Bruntingthorpe and was rescued by Nat Lottery funding. She's due to undertake her first test flight in April and then appear at the Falklands 25th anniversary flypast on June 17th and then RAF Waddington open day assuming all goes well.

Hi Abdul, the event is on Sunday 17th June 2007 from 10am - 4pm. There is a meal and dance on the Saturday night with music by the band Revival that has to be pre-booked.
