Would anyone be interested in my 940 diesel?

Few pics:

D24tic on 140k
M46 manual
Straight through side exit
Monroe adjustable shocks

Looking around 1800.

Just secured a new job and my commute has gone from 6 miles to 80 a day!

I would have thought this would have been the perfect commuter car? I use my 940 for a 30 mile a day commute.

Too much fuel its averaging 26mpg. The m46 means it sits at 3k at 70mph

There's something wrong there.

My '90 740td also does 3k at 70mph and has averaged 44mpg over the last 20+thousand miles...

Yes Jim, you took the words right out of my mouth!! I immediately thought of those figures you quoted only last week.

The worst figure I have ever recorded with a D24 was 30mpg - and that was after a few weeks of nothing but stop/start, very short journeys and idling for long periods around town. And that was an auto.

Apart from that horrendous thirst, this example looks like a very nice buy. The indicators, grille and wheels will make it even more appealing to a lot of people as well.

My first diesel was a 940 GLE, again a K-reg with an M46. That was nudging nearly 40mpg with a mix of around town and motorway.

Tic engine is a great match to the 940. Very rare, don’t think many around.

Beautiful car. Are there any issues/corrosion/problems at all? I've never owned a diesel 7/900 but would like to.

Unexciting question, but does it have a towbar?

Very interested in this, when was the heater matrix done? Also associated belts and water pump?

Isn't it an arse to change the matrix in any 940, also unsure if volvo can supply a genuine one either

Lovely car though
