Default 1.9D 115bhp Engine Mapping

Hi Guys,

New here but have had quite a nice v40 2001 since beginning of the year. - Engine is now on 83k and wondering if there was anyone on here who's had one mapped and what they felt the real world difference was ?

Thank you.

I have a 2002 v40 1.9 diesel sport with 152k on the clock
I had mine stage 1 remapped and the power difference is superb. Its gone up from 115bhp to 167bhp.
I can now overtake and know I'm going to get past.
Fuel consumption is about 10mpg more.
Hasn't affected my car at that mileage.

Sorry took a while to reply. It was done at a local remapping specialist about 10 miles away.
If you need details, please contact me.
The ecu's on the v/s40 diesels cannot be remmaped through eobd socket,it'll need ecu removing and fitting a new chip.
