Default Airbag Service

As my motor is coming up for 10 years old was wondering what is involved in the airbag system service, and what is the likely cost for this. Anyone had it done recently?

It is over 10 years now since volvo scrapped air bag servicing , they have been proved now to have an indefinite life , The only time anything may need a "service " is when the SRS light comes on , everything electrical is monitored all the time .
Do you realise how much it would cost to change all the airbags and pyrotechnics on a volvo ? probably £5000 +

That is what I was thinking myself. I had noticed it when looking at the service schedule / stickers on my car. The only way I could think of for testing an airbag anyway was to set it off to see if it worked (not that I am very knowledgeable about these things!)
