  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

I dont think they actually made a loss, just less.

I myself think its a bad idea for them to expand the fitting and autocentres, especially under the Halfords brand.Should they go down this route I reckon a rebrand may be a better idea for this side of the business.

Perhaps they should concentrate on their core business, I dont know maybe expand further into camping ,as bikes do well.One thing is certain they need to invest in quality staff.

Argos seems to have turned itself around a bit with a slightly altered business model, Argos TV, more online presence,more welcoming stores etc etc.

The staff at these stores seem to be the main complaint I hear from anyone who uses them. Can't say I noticed, although I never ask them for advice on anything...

Last time I used them was for the CD player in my Renault megane.
