Fuel flap sticking
Recently I'm having to press the unlock button on the key several times before the Fuel flap will open.
Is it ok to spray some WD40 or the like into the rubber recess where it comes from? If it sticks and doesn't open some day is there a way around this, or to manually open it? |

If it sticks shut one day, take off the small removable panel in the boot area on that side. You can reach the solenoid and pull the black plastic pin back into the open position. It's easy to remove the solenoid and clean the motor cogs. YouTube.
