Default Cost of buying and having lpg tank installed

Would anyone have any idea of the cost of the following. If you are thinking of buying a car which is currently running fine on lpg but the seller is going to remove the tank before the sale, does anyone have any idea of how much it would cost to buy and have a new tank installed please, rest of the system all ok?

The tanks are unfortunately pretty expensive.

Which type of tank do you need, donut or cylinder?

I found this link which gives some idea of costs:

http://www.lpg-kits.com/tanks.htm

Obviously you're then looking at getting it fitted, probably best to get some quotes from local LPG specialists as I'd want to get the system safety checked too.

I've moved your post to the LPG section, hopefully someone there will be able to help more.

Cheers,
John
