Just over a day to go on Ebay now people.

Got quite a few watchers but no bidders!

Come on people, would be ideal for home diagnosis & repair or to an independant that deals with Volvo.

Anyway, the VCT2000 & Lead is still for sale......

I need to let people know that I tested the VCT & Lead the other day. On my 2002 S40 Diesel it communicated perfectly with every module. However, on a 2004 S60 it would not communicate with the low speed network. I’m sure last time I used the VCT there were no problems so it may just have been an issue with the vehicle I was testing it on.

Heres a quick pic of the VCT & cable.....

Thanks for looking

Thanks for the pic's,

Is VCT2000 & Lead is still for sale?

Which models will you be able to diagnoise with VCT2000.

Regards,

up to 2008 depending on which software you use up to 2005 on one and up to 2008 on the other then after 2008 its dice .unless i am total wrong.

1999 models to 2005 with vadis then carries on with VIDA in the dealers until earlier this year when volvo removed it from it's current diagnostic software .. .

When you say depends on the softare what do you mean and what needs to be done to be able to diagnoise after 2008 models?

I've noted that you removed the item from ebay, what is the reason?

And also, could you please confirm the price.

if you look at clans answer that tells you either vadis or vida, if you install vida it will cover from 1999 onwards.but you can not have both vadis and vida on the same hard drive unless you partition the hard drive.

The latest version of Vida (2010A) will need the newer Volvo DiCE unit which communicates via Bluetooth rather than the VCT unit (with it's OBDII - VCT and VCT - laptop serial port cables). DiCE will only work with the Vida software.

Vida 2008A will still work with the VCT (how do I know - I've got the setup ) and DiCE.
